About Me

My unique background, combining engineering and a lifelong love of dogs, gives me a distinct advantage in dog training. The problem-solving skills I honed in engineering are invaluable in addressing canine behavior challenges. From early experiences training my neighbour's dog to opening a boarding and training facility in Derby and working with animal charities, I've seen firsthand how good training and socialization can transform a dog's life.

 

I now specialise in the challenges that come with puppy training and adolescents, where my problem-solving approach is invaluable. Like a "Nanny McPhee" for dogs, I offer firm but fair guidance and creative solutions. I'm committed to supporting you with expertise and patience, helping you raise a happy, well-behaved companion and build a lasting bond.​

My areas of expertise include early puppy training, establishing reliable lead walking, and addressing a variety of behavioural issues. I have experience working with dogs exhibiting nervousness, fear aggression, possessive aggression, reactivity, and separation anxiety. I also provide guidance on socialisation and recall training, with a focus on adolescent challenges. My goal is to help dogs and their owners build a strong bond and achieve their training goals.​​
